Reviews for "Reflections >Remaster<"

Still filthy.

My subwoofer is please,
and for that, i thank you.

Beast!!!

I actually listened to your first version of this song first and was blown away by it. I came upon this version later on, and in my honest opinion, this version sounds many times better than the previous. Everything sounds in balance with each other, and I love the echo effect you used in the piano here. The "YEAH WOW WUB" bass here may sound thinner here, but I think that a bass in anything (even dubstep, which is a genre I only just recently got into) shouldn't totally overpower everything else that's going on. The bass definitely makes is presence known here, yet leaves room for the pads and the drum beats. Overall, a very awesome track that got my head banging. 5/5, 10/10

cool :D

BEAST MODE! o.o

Yezzir!

I'm probably the only one but...

Don't get me wrong i've had the other one on my music player for so long now and i loved the heavy bass wobbles.
This was actually of all dubstep my favourite dubstep song, Above all other actuall dubstep producers (Excision, Flux, Cookie Monster, Datsik Etc,)

And when this got remastered i thought to myself; "Woah this must be even sicker than i thought. So i listened and everything sounded better until 0:38 Where the bass comes in. I was very dissappointed. I expected the bass to be heavier AND nastier but instead they became more, clean and not heavy at all.
They wobbles now just feel empty to me.

I still love this song but the first one still sounds better to me. I hope i could just show you with this comment that i'm not ranting this song or you at all.
But just giving a listeners opinion!

Ay, you're not the only person; a lot of people have (and I haven't had to tell people "I GOT THE MEMO ALREADY!" in a while lol). What I was trying to do was get my bass to sound more professional, but in the process of sidechaining, I actually caused my bass to thin out. I still don't think it's as thin as people claim, but I can definitely tell it's thinner than the original. There's a lot I would change about this number...which is why I want to recreate it from scratch with what I know now. It's amazing how quickly and how fast I've changed. If you heard what I was producing now, you'd fall over! ;)

And P.S. I am an actual dubstep producer...just lettin you know to be careful how you phrase things. I'm not pro (*yet), but I definitely still produce! ;)

Nice.

The "yeah" bass is pretty good and fits in nicely here. I also like the synth and piano in the beginning, it brings in a big contrast when the bass drops. The actual drop and bass line after are really nice. Structured well and keeps my attention. I'm also liking the choir/drum break, that's really cool. Really enjoyable and it kept me guessing. Awesome.

Thanks! Glad you liked it! =)
