hmm interesting... toilet...

Beautiful. Reminds me of Halo and Bethesda games...before they started to suck ass.

Needs Proper Mastering

You've got the whole playing thing down, perfect and amazing. You can play the tune wonderfully and design it well. However, you should learn a bit of simple mastering techniques such as volume and panning. These techniques can make this song a hell of a lot better.

I am assuming you are using either one or two layers of strings, but of the same string type. Try to create three different layers of different string instruments, each at a different location on the panning bar. One string could be at %25 on the left, another %15 on the right, and another %50 on the right. These are just random example %'s, so don't actually use those specefic ones. What im trying to say is that you need to use multiple layers with different volume and panning levels so that the track doesn't seem as flat.

Simply experiment with panning and volume. See where it gets you :)

Kewl.

Nice composition.

Emotional! The brass and strings crescendos very amazing. Good job.

BrokenDeck responds:

Many thanks!

I feel two things

It's interesting, and not very many songs do this. I see this as two emotions clashing. You can argue that the song is happy, but not a "Awesome I'm getting married!" or "I've done it!" to be generic, just one of those bits that play when the camera zooms out, showing the few remaining soldiers standing up as the beast lay slain, and the number of moving soldiers gets drastically beaten by the number who will never move again. They've won, but the cost was great.

While this is happening, I see it as the opposite. The beast beat the army, and the last soldier alive just has enough time to receive a quick flash of his wife and kids before he too, joins his comrades.

Not really a review, more of what I felt, but you can take this as you choose and in a way, that is a review, showing you what your music provokes.

This is what I like to see more of. I love it when people write their own stories based on my music. It's good to know that my music is doing what I'd hoped it might do for people, and that is provoke imagination. :D

Thanks!
