Wonderful

I absolutely love this. The plucking and strings playing give me a feeling and an image of a bunch of guys around a fire at night. But the faint timpani and low brass in the back ground makes me a little said to see them go off to fight the next morning, like a major contrast. Wonderful job. This is the first I have ever heard and I am going to listen to more because of this. Keep up the wonderful work. But I would have to agree with Lightningpichu it needs some sort of ending, though I think something quite like the begging but with more timpani low brass playing in the back, like an ominous force in the night and on the scene.

Amazing

It's a really excellent piece but I have to agree with the others on this. The song, for me at least, seems to reach a conclusion at about 1.12. Don't get me wrong the flow into the next section is very natural but with the end just fading out to nothing it almost feels like a new piece of music that breaks at the end.

Might be with the introduction of the pipes after 1.12. It feels like a different setting entirely, reminds me of the Last Samurai film.

Even with those noted it's still a beautiful piece. Well done.

Yes. Originally, I had intended this song to be only part of a series of songs for a soundtrack mock-up. But I never finished the series.
