this is madness

yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

incredible

the influence of this is incredible. although it may not be perfect, the way you went about an amen break into dubstep was amazing. if this had more time spent on it and had lower frequencies then this would be perfect. great job

superuberinsaneausm responds:

thanks, the trouble with rasing the low freqs it that the bass takes up the whole song because the master track is compressed.

I like this

I agree with the person who mentioned the different rates of the wobbles. Very nice to listen to.

Something to keep in mind when making music: you don't have to follow the genre's "rules" when producing it. Those wobbles are EXACTLY what dubstep should sound like.. And that's actually not a good thing (most of the time at least). Try to separate yourself from the soup of generic sounds and create something that stands out from the crowd.

Overall, good song, very professional. Just try to diversify yourself a little more.

superuberinsaneausm responds:

Thanks!, i really wanna vip this so your advice really helped.

Yoo

I like the wobble diversity. Never got boring...that's important.

You structured the song really well, kudos on that.

Well written track, a few words of advice would be focus on your mixing/mastering, find some better drum samples, and I would also scrap the amen break. I know you're going for that chaotic madness feel, but it's hard to pull of breakstep (or whatever its called).

Gave ya a 9/10. Lookin forward to your future tracks man.

superuberinsaneausm responds:

thanks!!! as far as my future tracks i might slow this one down to 140 maybe make a dubstep version...

Lacking some Umpf

like the flow and differences in styles but i don't feel the kick...just feels a bit too compressed

i wanna feel more UMPF...thats kicks the air out of my lungs

superuberinsaneausm responds:

yea fl 8 comes with really shitty kick samples and even if i raised the volume i would take up the whole low end of the song. i gotta stop using soundgoodizer :)

and btw spinestep is my favorite song on the portal!!!! its so sad to see such a great peice of work get blammed, sometimes this website doesn't make any sense :C
