Reviews for "Armed Invasion"

WOAH

this was WAAAAYYY TOO HARD. decrease damage done by snipers. like, 13 of'em came up in level 3 and i was dead in 2 seconds

pretty good

I like this game. Its very difficult though - if the ammo would reset to something about 30 after each level, it may be possible to survive all levels. and the money you get is not enough... but I gave it a 5 ^^

Ehrenck responds:

Great suggestions! I have updated the game so that you now get +15 rounds at the end of every level... I have also increased the amount of money you get per character... Let me know if this makes the game play better, thanks for your feedback!

Bugs

The controls and shooting are really hard to master. Also, the tank moves slow, and the snipers can shoot at you from the other side, which sux.

Ehrenck responds:

Not sure what you mean by the snipers can shoot at you from the other side??? They are camouflaged and hard to see, but you can still shoot them, thanks for the feedback!

great potential, but lots of annoyances

The biggest problem with this game right now is the limited turret rotation and movement system. It doesn't move unless you're aiming outside its valid angle range. That bugs me, because the turret is prety much useless when you're moving, because you don't know what it's really aiming at (unless you're also firing sporadically to determine this), and even then, it's only going to hit things along that line. I understand that the moving turret thing is part of the difficulty, but you could have picked a lot better way to have the turret move. So, I suggest you have turret movement controlled by keyboard. So, pressing up/w moves it up, and down/s moves it down. That would completely solve this problem. Completely! That's really my only gripe with this game, but it's a huge gripe because it more or less ruins the game for me. If you fixed that, I'd give this game a 10, because other than that, it's a great game.

Ehrenck responds:

I understand your complaint and have played around with it... you will notice a few things.. first your crosshairs change color when you are in range of a target... so instead of firing sporadically just watch your crosshairs, when it changes from red to white, you know you are able to hit what you are aiming at... I tried the game with keyboard as well but after alot of testing I got better feedback from the mouse only... Also, if you invest your money into turret speed upgrades, you will be much more mobile... Give it a shot and let me know what you think! thanks

Great

Really good and fun turret game
