Wow, amazing work

Really really good job. You've gone past what i thought was possible in flash, it's been nearly a year since i've reviewed or submitted an entry because flash 8 has been giving me extreme problems, and right when I feel like I have enough motive to start again, i go onto newgrounds and see this.

I took an animation class last semester and i can do so much more than before, but you amazed me. Did you draw a lot of those scenes? Or perhaps have a Graphics Tablet? I find it hard to draw like that in flash, it's just such a pain.

Also was the invisible/slicing tentecles done with actionscript or something else? Any helpful hints would be much appreciated, since i'm starting up again.

It can be hard to draw free in Flash with only a mouse. I do own a graphics tablet and I use it mainly for hair or fullbody characters, but also for backgrounds sometimes. Using the line and arrow tool with a mouse is pretty easy though, so I do that alot :)

The invisible arms were made by using masks. Basiclly you have two backgrounds, and decide to show one of them with the arm as a mask.

A masterpeice

I was on the edge of my seat man that was just an amazing flash i cant wait for part D to see what happends i mean i felt bad when when llyod got stuck on the other side of that crack you just felt what his teamates were feeling like "like fuck man" i cant wait for the second one just keep up the amazing work

Frigging asom

That was just great, i've been following Castle since II (the first one i saw, then i watched the rest) and I knew since part A this one was going to be one hell of a flash... but man, i didnt expect it was coming this great, great style and not only a great animation, but a great story too and thats the strongest part of Castle for me

Brilliant visuals and choreography

This is the most amazing movie I've seen in flash. Looked like you used some 3D models in there? Or your just really good to fool the eye! I love everything from the design of the characters, animation, sound, battlescenes,.. Great stuff! This is what we should try to beat.
