Clunky!
Graphics, sound and animation - perfect. Unfortunately, the grayish green guy is just too sluggish, which turns the gameplay from 'challenging' to 'tedious'. And no, it's not the fault of my computer, it's just as unwieldy on the P4 3 GHz with low quality and no effects.
Graphics or gameplay?
The style of this game is awesome. The colours are brilliant as is the character animation. Despite this, I can't help but think that the quality of the game should be compensated for graphics. This is a major mistake. It seemed to me like you had a blur filter on the background and I would strongly advise that you remove it. This game was horribley laggy and, to be honest, not fun as a result. Please reconsider where the priorities of a game lie.
its a good game...
... although i find it a little frustrating, like people have said before, on account of the low framerate and lack of checkpoints. unlike some other people however i am not going to have a rant about how this game stinks because my computer is too crappy to run it properly. this is a really good game in concept, its just that quite a lot of people dont have a good enough computer to run it to its full potential. and also the monsters are from gish because this game is made by the same people who made gish. so yeah. keep up the good work. and dont let idiots annoy you.
Seems half-done
First the bad: This game is really frustrating, like mario in molasses. I was expecting something a little more innovative than this from Edmund. The sluggish controls and lack of checkpoint or save system is aggravating.
The good: Good art/animation and nice designs.
This is a decent game it just needs some more polish.
Pretty cool game, may add some more interaction.
I enjoy this game , I have been playing it 4 hours by now, but I could say that adding more interactivity like: other kind of killing attack, may be some cool cactus splinter attack with spines, a combo move or something like that would be nice, etc. The sound is good, and the overall game experience is good too, the storyline is kind of weird but cool. This game deserve the 5 points vote. I like it! and add it to my favorites in # 2 position!!!Congratulations and keep up the good work!!!
