Reviews for "Castle III part A"

"Mystically blood chilling"

I enjoyed it... Story line is pretty dark... Sorta reminds me of DC Comics cartoons like Batman or Batman Beyond... Animation is real smooth... I like the 3D effects... Nice job...

B should be out on NG pretty soon yes.
Thanks alot.

A mix of Castlevania and Underworld: Evolution!

Seriously though, this flash is remarkable...I didn't even know NG could HANDLE such graphics! This episode didn't hold much action in it (the only action was just flashbacks), but I know that there is a very good reason for that: This episode is BUILDING UP to a great series! Keep up the amazing work!
*The graphics were amazing: I first realized this when I saw the ocean, the mysterious 3D-ness of the helicopter, and the realistic red lights inside the helicopter, illuminating the soldiers in gloomy light.

*The style was INCREDIBLE. I get into this kind of stuff: a sarcastic yet bad-ass man, who is hired on a contract in which he will encounter a midieval castle in the middle of the ocean (in Underworld: Evolution there was a helicopter that dropped off the main character Selene into a beautiful castle in the ocean on a huge cliff like this one), and he will fight dragons and zombies and demons and all that other RPG game stuff (like in Castlevania!)-but the fact that he's going to use guns AND a sword makes it unique, mixing the two weapon styles, like in Final Fantasy VII. Also, the General's office was soothing, yet business-y, which was cool in a professional way. You also make it sound like this movie takes place in the near future, as the General says that our resources are dwindling and that Global Warming was in full effect. It sounds like this series may take place during the Apocalypse or something?

*The voice acting was dead-on (though the General's voice was a little odd, it was still very good), and the music suited every aspect of it.

Overall, this flash is AMAZING, it is so realistic, yet it uses unreal and perhaps even magical things in it, making it a very nice mixture of real world AND otherworldly action!
Great job!
Can't wait for B!

Get-lost responds:

You're right about this episode is building up tension, and so will the next one. Action will come later.

It's not supposed to be an ocean, by the way, just a dead and deserted surface. :)

Good summary of the story, heh.

Glad you liked the voiceacting.

Thanks alot for this review.

Loved It!!

Extremely kool, will be keeping an eye out for sure.

Changing the perspective to Etrius' view when he was on the stretcher was a very nice touch.

Get-lost responds:

Nice, thanks

excellent

extremely good. i know its not supposed to be funny, but for some reason its hilarious to see a stick figure swear. probably the best graphics i have ever seen in a flash animation. i wish the animation wasnt with stick figures though. the environments are beautiful, i know that the animator is capable of people instead of sticks.
