The only thing that i can point out on this submission is the voices, they'r could be better, but the rest is simly perfect for the style of movie... ;)
Reviews for "There Once Was a House..."
Not too shabby.
Personally, I found the animation and drawings to be pretty unique and cool. The voice acting wasn't bad, but there were points when I couldn't help but crack a smile, such as when the kid shrieked and then a funny sound effect for blood splatter happened.
The only thing I found fault in was how sometimes the sound seemed scratchy. Dunno if that was intentional or not, but not a big deal.

The one way i reckon you could improve is to maybe Fine cut the details a little bit as During some scenes the Children looked like Middle aged Midgets they had some severe wrinkles which just looked bad
Other than that though they were great and as was the story other i got a few more questions though
1: How does a old granny decapitate both a boy and a girl...With her teeth?
2: Why is there no struggle? assuming the boys age would be around his early teens (10-11) and the girl a little older Surely they would be able to overpower her...Especially if they were fighting for their lives
3: Why does she just attack them? most modern serial killers Normally have some fore-thought before they commit murders and thus gives her no reason to attack the children for all she knows the Girl could be the daughter of a Prominent member of Society or something like that

1. I'll leave that up to your imagination.
2. Well, don't assume too quickly that the boy's still alive when the girl goes in. Besides, the old lady might not be just any normal old lady.
3. As for the time when this animation is set, it might not necessarily be set in modern day. As for the old lady's intensions. Well, who knows. People with psycological problems don't always listen to reason.

Really scary...
GRAPHICS - The characters looked a bit choppy but I guess that's your style. The characters were very ugly but i'm not saying the drawings suck. It's a scary story therefore the characters must look like that. Overall, I really liked it.
STYLE - Yours is a lot different from many flash artists, which is unique, which I like.
SOUND - The voices were big letdown, and so were some of the sound effects. It was like a scream into a microphone. But you got major points for the music. Throughout it was scary especially around the second half of the flash.
VIOLENCE - There was some, but you can't see it. Blood splatter okay, but the heads at the end... man that creeped the fuck out of me.
INTERACTIVITY - PALY BUTTON.
HUMOR - Well... the characters looked funny and the boy's scream at the end was funny. And I guess the looking at the severed heads made me laugh a bit.
Well done, I'm looking forward for more flash from you typically this type of scary flash. It would've been perfect for Halloween, but I guess it was late. (9/10) (5/5)

That was one of the weirdest flashes I have ever seen on Newgrounds. But weird means good and weirdest means FUCKING AWESOME!
