Reviews for "PrTr: 06: Clash of Armour"

Perfect.

Hey Peter, its Realblackstick from Fluidanims. I've been searching and searching the classical section for epic action music for a war anim thats in concept in my mind, but to no avail, and then this beauty gets bumped by justice. And let me say, its the best song i've heard in NG in a while. 5/5 and 10/10. Where can i find the album, and with your permission, can i use this song if my project takes off?

EvilRaccoon responds:

Hey RBS! The Album isnt release yet because I've not finished it. However you can download everytrack to date for the album in my music section.

Anything with the PrTr: and logo infront of it is going to contribute to the album. But yeh! Help yourself :D, just remember to give me the usual credit.

;)

The New Satera

There's no words to really do this song justice. And to reference what Tomppaah said; I can almost tell where the 5 different projects are at in the song, there are about 5 or so 'different' sections that, while keeping with the Satera (instead of Midas) touch, as I'm now officially calling it ( :D ), have their own unique twist to the song, something to add to it to further hurl it down the epic path.

And to reference Tompaah again; I actually thought this WAS a live orchestra.

This is a new Peter Satera we haven't heard before, and I'm glad that you're finally making... well, 'music' isn't so much the word as Epic is, each of the two new songs is an Epic, not just a Tale - not just a Song. But it's great to have you back, it's been a while since you've made anything, or at least posted anything, on Newgrounds, with the exception of Rival, Part 4: Demise.

Peter, I think you leveled up. Twice. And really, no words do this justice. To say it's brilliantly done and it's tracking is beautiful is to say that a whale is tiny. It's perfectly done, it fires you up and gets your adrenaline pumping, just listening to it fills you full of medieval conquest and epicness, makes you feel like a King. Like a God.

Wow.

EvilRaccoon responds:

Thanks so much Artine!! You always give amazingly encouraging and inspiring comments. Ive actually redone my template since and hoping to get a better quality sound. Fingers crossed.

It certainly has been a while since I released anything, but I've just been uninspired recently. This hopefully will get the ball rolling again. So glad you enjoyed it! :D

This is..

No, not sparta.. But something that could be in a movie like sparta. I still have no idea how you are able to make these sound so good! :D

I just ADORE all your percussions! <3 They are soo damn good, all of em, in every track of yours. I'll be damned if I ever get to use these kinds of percussions in my track.. Be still my heart.

From beginning to end, there really isn't anything I could badmouth. Very nice transition from emotional, to action. The action part evolves very nicely, and there's a lot of stuff going on. I like that! :D Keeps it really interesting ;)

Ooh, the swell at the end, this is really giving me goosebumps!

For a track spanning over 5 FL studio projects, this is truly something that deserves a live orchestra. :P

10/10
5/5

EvilRaccoon responds:

Thanks so much Tomppaah! I'd so love to put a live orchestra to my pieces! Ahh always a dream.

We should get our collab moving soon :P

Superb.

This song is pure AWESOME. This piece is by far the best one you've made (even better than Batman's Pain, or the Sneaking song) It is absolutely amazing.
It starts slowly and keeps the nice pace by not ending too fast or going on and on too slow, it has nice little spikes of strings and gradually introduces the horn instrument. After which the epic chant choir comes into works and the song turns more aggressive just sends shivers down my spine. Already by then I got sucked in into the "plot" of two massive powers measuring the strengths in apocalyptic battle. The very low "male" war chanting is also a very good choice and it is even more better than Hans Zimmer's work on Last Samurai. Keep this kind of stuff mate, the epic, sad yet powerful piece of highly polished, quality music. This is where you're strength lies at and it does not disappoint.

Keep it coming mate.

EvilRaccoon responds:

Woa! Thanks Isemat. Thats a great complement coming from you! I know how much you prefer Batmans Pain to everything else haha :D

Thanks so much. Your words are always great!

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

I can see this piece in a trailer of a movie or in the movie very well done.

EvilRaccoon responds:

Thanks CaptainEpic :D
