Pretty but could have been better
Though I did like it, I noticed a couple of things. The first being the transitions. Not all of the songs transitioned between each other smoothly. Also, I noticed you left out a song or two from Mother. The one that I noticed the most that was missing "Wisdom of the World," probably because it's one of my favorites.
Ah. Wisdom of The World is my favorite from the game. Yet after listening to the live version, I could not duplicate the Violins in that song.
Great Piece
I am a huge fan of the Mother series and Earthbound 0 is probably my favorite of the three. Your piece had some beautiful stuff, but there were some things that bothered me.
Transition was one. I felt it a bit off when a transition took place. And it felt off a lot...and in the beginning, where Mother Earth is being featured, it started beautifully, but when the melody came in over top, I felt that it could have been represented with a stronger instrument. The ending was beautiful, by the way.
I give it a seven because, while it's a great piece, it has some major flaws, at least to my ears. To someone else's, maybe not. But, keep writing music and getting better at your craft. Great job.
