great game!
i liked it, really simple and original gameplay,the hookshot answer really good to the click, i got 1.460!
a little detail-> you could add a music or background change when you reach to another level, because sometimes is monotonous.

The song is a techno remix of saria's song(used in triforce keep up aswell) and its what made the game 2.9 MB, its over two minutes, that way the music isn't annoying as you play. And for the background, there are some actionscript difficulties with the chain for the hook shot that I could only set the backrgound as defult in flash, its got to do with how the chain is drawn.

This is a nice game. But are you familiar with a game called Pendulumeca? Hook Shot appears to be a Zelda remake of it.

I played it yes, but this is inspired by James the Christmas Zebra surprisingly more similar to penduelemiczca(wow spelling error to the max) but I made this game in 3 hours so I didn't want to be as complex as James the Christmas Zebra.

Thanks, try the book "Flash mx 2004 game design demystified" I mention it in all my games considering I use it to make my games, its a great book and if you want to get passed dress-up games I highly recomend it. I actually made this game in 3 hours so the book is really good.

I'm a fan of James the Christmas Zebra which is a quite recent game so yea its been done before, but its still sort of untouched as in the genre hasn't been butchered!
