I love this game you won't believe how long i've been waiting for this game, its good, I was doing good untill lvl 20~ i think, then instead of saving I loaded a lvl 2 game, I was doing good with 40 things to collect, on he fastest speed, really good game, but i dont feel like going tru all those lvls again. hehehe
Bah. To heck with that last guy.
The graphics were fine. That last reviewer was probably someone who's not even old enough to have even seen the original. Anywhere.
The musical score did get a bit repetative BUT it was pleasant background music so it's not like it got annoying or anything.
All in all, you've built a nice little remake of a game and made it worth playing for the sake of playing it. 5's to ya :)

Not going to write a big review for this one, but lemme just give you what you need to improve on.
Graphics please, I know its only snake, but that is why graphics are so crucial, you need good graphics in a simple game. The skin themselves were kinda boring.
Mouse control was really not that great. At times if the mouse is too close the snake would twirl and bite itself, maybe it was the bad sensitivity of my mouse... but that got annoying.
Next time... Improve on graphics, add more interactivity (power ups/costumes/etc) Please find better songs, or atleast a list of songs to choose from.

Nice twist
The addition of skins and mouse control were a needed upgrade. It managed to keep me entertained for about 15 minutes. Just then at the neccacary time i found out that i could change the number of body sections neccacary for winning! 100 is quite a challenge worthy of a couple trys. Randomizing the skins for fickly people like me was a nice touch too, as well as the save feature.

This is by far the best version of snake ive played, well done, its really fun and the controls are great although it was annoying at first when he spun into himself, but that wasnt the games fault, Overall probably the second best game ive played here.
