Reviews for "Lost Rhapsody 2"

Great fun...

This was a funny way of representing Lost lol.

You forgot to mention Terry Pratchet for the use of the Great A'tuin from the Discworld novels, and Monty Python for the Great big foot (Can anybody remember whch one that was?).

All the classic scenes and the most funniest music very good.
Did you use the actual Program for reference when you did the painting style?

Things to change: add credit Terry Pratchet and Monty Python for their respective ideas in the movie.

Else fine.

CapnBob responds:

Monty Python is mentioned for the sound effect and obviously the gag with the foot, but the foot itself was from Lost. And though I like Terry Pratchet, he did not invent the idea of a world on the back of a turtle. It's a much older mythological reference.

Great !

The graphics and the style are awesome ! How did you do it... :)

Keep it up ! :)

CapnBob responds:

Rotoscoping and a lot of patience and practice. And 4 months of spare time. Thanks!

Loved it!

Still laughing of the Monty Python ending! Nicely done!

CapnBob responds:

When I saw the giant foot in the show, I just HAD to do it. There was no choice!

nice

Production quality was very high. When you say by hand, did you really draw from scratch? or rotoscope over video?

It was a well conceived, well executed piece. Great Job!

CapnBob responds:

Combination of rotoscoping and drawing from scratch, though it may not immediately be obvious which is which in all cases. The guy rotating on the device in the Closer section was a 50/50 split, for instance. I drew half of those frames from scratch because the original video was only 50% of the length I wanted. You should be able to tell which parts were autotraced though.

Freakin' awesome.

Funniest thing ever.

The music fitted in perfectly well, omg, freaking awesome. One of the best music videos i've seen.
