Reviews for "-Lullaby"

It's good to see you back in action, Blaze!

Every time I see one of your works on the browsing list, I instantly click on it because I know it's going to blow me away. Your sheer artistic talent never fails to project itself through the keys of your piano past my ears and into my soul. Good work, Blaze. Even played slower than intended, this piece sounded beautiful.

BlazingDragon responds:

Chaos, thank you for yet another review! I appreciate your comments on my music and the encouragement that you give. I'll hopefully have more music up soon.

Beautiful, professional composition.

This was really excellent! I find absolutely nothing wrong with this composition, and I really enjoyed listening to it. If I was to look for the faults of this piece, it would be with the recording (being somewhat grainy) and the tempo, especially toward the beginning, which was rather slow (although you recognized this yourself).

However, since I'm reviewing the composition itself, not the recording, I have to say that I love this piece. The quality of the composition is leagues ahead of the majority of works I've heard on Newgrounds, and your compositional skills become evident through this piece.

Good work and good luck!

BlazingDragon responds:

I had the music marked as pianissimo at the beginning if I recall, and the performer took it to an extreme. I mean, you had to lean at the edge of your seat to hear! To compensate, the levels had to be brought up in the recording, which also bumped up the background noise I'm sure. Still, it is awesome to have someone else play my music. :D

Thanks for the awesome review my friend!

Great

-This is beautifully played and recorded. Albiet is is rather slow and low sounding at times. Well put together overall and not anything that glares out as a fault in any way. While this could of been longer that might of not been the best way to go with this which shows that this was well thought out. Definitely worth the time put into this piece.

BlazingDragon responds:

I meant for this to be longer, but I only had two or three days at the music camp I attended. I handed this in not completed but kind of like it this way. As far as the slowness, the performer was sight reading it! Pretty impressive. So yes, he did play it a bit slow.

Thank you for the thoughtful words, sixflab.

Very beautiful

I'm looking forward to seeing a finished piece. This is just full of amazing transitions and sounds that fulfill my ears.

BlazingDragon responds:

I was a bit worried about the transitions, so that is good to hear. Thank you, kind sir. :)
