an extroadinary compisition and amazing story
First for the composition:
Being a musician of over 12 years and a lover of the keyboard myself find this piece pulls me in like very few have over the years. Even without the story this piece stands above most others in terms of flow, structure, and feeling. Those are very hard things to do in music. The only real thing i can say against it is the orchestra behind the piano need not even be there. They seem so distant and i understand the effect ur trying to accomplish with using this but i dont really think they r necessary with the way the piano sticks out on its own already. It sort of works i should say, but hey thats just my opinion. Perhaps in terms of improvement y not through in another piano to take over the violin part and add some more chords on the quiet part to almost counter the main melody itself and keep the piece moving along at that same pace. Just sayin ^ ^;; But man i epically already downloaded this piece so i thank u for the hard work u put into this piece. lol
For the story:
Being a minor fictitious writer as well (XD seriously i mean that!) i found that the meaning of this story was very well pulled together and that the world u created was more than enough to keep my attention. The only real thing i could say is that i found it just a wiii bit awkward of introducing our main character right in the middle of the story as opposed to maybe a paragraph in or something. Settings only need so long to be fully understood. and i would have liked to see a bit more of his journey through the endless tunnel as he aged slowly and died. Just for dramatic effect mind u. ^ ^ once again just my opinion. lol
