I love her design so much. Her personality suits it well haha.
I'd say go with the watermarks but make it small and faint. For example, don't make it large because it's an eyesore, and don't make it incredibly bright either. (Obviously. xD)
What I've seen some people do is make a very small pixel watermark of their username, and hide it somewhere well in the picture.
