Thanks, next time tell me. I'd like to know what it reminded you of.
great
Holy and yet dark...It sounds like music played when trouble is brewing
Yeah, I hear you. Thanks for the review.
I wanted to like it...
But in the end I didn't. I would say that this is something which had potential(the very beginning with harp and choir is a good example of said potential). Ultimately, the music style became its bane.
This song is what I would call a progression piece, starts from a basic melody and overlaps it with additional melodies, usually while retaining all or most original melodies, until the end. They scream repetitiveness...and so does the harp in this song; being so melodically heavy, it hurt to hear it for the whole three and a quarter minutes. Also, for the most-part, you made the song have solely instruments with a "background" style, creating something without much of a main melody to follow. Only until 1:21 was there a real tune, but even then the two(oboes?) did not work together to form chords, but rather played two separate tunes. Kind of like hearing two separate songs at once...
Thanks for the honest words here. I see you're no beginner with music and that I can respect. I admit im not a pro and know that there are things to work on. so if you ever get a chance to, give me some tips on how to fix some of my problems that way the next time you hear my music it will be dead on.
Thanks again.
Definatly
Should be used in a post apocalyptic world zombie game, that coming from a zombie story/fan guy/gamer. Its pretty epic and I would love to see it in a series like paladin something along those lines, hell it would be awsome for when the new Autum war comes out. Anyway, Good work keep it up saved to my files.
Thanks bro, I love those kind of games to, so I can definately see your idea on this.
So Epic it Must be Reviewed
I like the very mellow start. It really appeals to me with those "light" sounding insturments( a harp possibly?). When the strings come in, I was pretty suprised. Then you kept adding insturments until I swear I can close my eyes and imagine I'm listening to a live performance by an orchestra. Around 1:20 you amped it up, and I said to myself, "I can just see this in a video game". Probably an opening screen due or cinematic due to how mellow it is.
This is such a great song that I made an account just so that I could review it. If I could I would give this more than 10 stars. I know of very few people who have achieved this level of greatness, and 90% of them make movies or are in a recording company. You have a promising career ahead of you if you go pro. Peace out.
(Smile) Now that some upbuilding words lol. Thanks bro, Im real flattered that you even made an account just to leave a review. I'll do my best not to let you down.
Oh, I just remixed a Zelda song that I think you'd get a kick out of. Although it's not one of my originals, Im more than sure it will bring a smile to your face. Shoot, you might as well say it is after you see what I have done to it
Thanks again for the words.
