Reviews for "Von Brunk vs. Sephiroth"

You may be able to kick with a hammer...

BUT CAN YOU PUNCH WITH YOUR FOOT?

Dear god, this flash made me laugh so hard. I love Sephiroth's retarded/crazy laugh.

Reading some of the reviews to make me weep for human kind though.
This flash doesn't make fun of race.
This flash doesn't make fun of religion.
This flash doesn't make fun of gays.
This flash doesn't make fun of political figures.
This flash doesn't make fun of national tragedies.
This flash doesn't even make fun of real people.
It makes fun of a fictional character. AND PEOPLE STILL GOT OFFENDED.
You nerds don't seem to understand something. Sephiroth may be much stronger than protrayed in this flash (although a kick in the nuts with a hammer may be his one weakness, as nobody tried that against him before), but the fact it took him out is WHY IT'S FUNNY.
Wanting someone to burn in hell just because they made fun of a videogame character? GET A LIFE.

And yes, I consider myself Sephiroth fan, because I know this review is going to result in me receiving thousands of hateful emails trying to convince me that "your retarted sepiroth si strongar then taht!!" "yuo haet teh best gaem evar brun in hel" and "YUO = FAGOT"

I'm kinda sad..

I odn't like the fact that you killed sephiroth for your own self gratification.Whats with sephy?Weird...but oh well most of the time our laughter must derive from someone's expense..

It was good

the only problem I ahd was the O mouth for the people, it kinda look messed up.

and the guy who reveiwed behind needs psychological attention.

In all reasonability

To Sephiroth haters;

I just wanted to note that "hypothetically speaking"
if something like that were to occur for real,
the hammer wouldn't even come "near" Sephiroth.

In fact, "Brunk" being the insignificant little individual he is,
Sephiroth wouldn't even bother to look at him,
and be on his way to attent to his personal goals.

People will probably think naive thoughts on this point like;
"omfg you n00b you think he's real, he's a game character"
and more useless lines like that.

Look..
People who patronize us obviously do not get the point of games, anime, books, and movies.

It is all about fantasy,

we "fans" are not so retarted to actually believe he's real.
We instead philosophize about what Sephiroth would be like
IF he were, just because his digital presence is intrigueing enough for us to put thought into matters alike, and his existance doesn't come off as an impossible scenario.

We can even find ourselves back in characters like him,
despite his "evil" acts,
he is able to make you believe deep down he's actually "human".
All it takes is a good deal of imagination and emotional understanding.

Now seeying his strength ingame,
you could assume he is in fact a demi god,
and flashes like these (even though mere spoof)
do bring disgrace to the world called Final Fantasy VII,
considering this game being like the holy grail
to a lot of hardcore gamers.

What you are doing here could be compared to what it's like for american people to burn their national flag.

I am not offended, I wrote this to straighten things out.

To the creator of this movie;

Yes, obviously I am a fan.
But not without a good sense of humour,
this didn't humor me and I tried, hard.

Other people have succeeded before in making me laugh about Sephiroth being humiliated, because they used more intelligent,
and adult humor.
This work however could qualify as
"fun for toddlers, otherwise NO"-section "fart jokes"

I credit you for making a flash movie in itself,
but it's not even close to frontpage material.

Like I said, it's fantasy, including this piece.
It's all good in it's own unique way,
If people have a great time watching this,
good for them, really.

Also know that I am not biased, even though I am pro Seph.

A word to the Sephiroth fans;

Why are you offended by this ?
The lunatic character you see in this flash movie is not Sephiroth,
it's a clown.

Besides that, Brunk is obviously taking a piss shot at fans that are lightly inflammable, why are you guys going all berserk over this ?

You should be wiser then that.

If you're not sure how to take my comments,
Know this; I come from a neutral stance.

To whom it might concern..

Greetings,

Sephiroth

von-Brunk responds:

I think you're wrong, pally. That lunatic is NOT some clown. He is, in fact the real Sephiroth. Up until July 2006, I haven't seen the guy in a while. Long story short, a few months back I ran into Mr. Roth (as he calls himself in Hollywood), and he told me how much he loved my Fast & The Furious parody called "The Fast & The Julius". I mean, this guy BEGGED me to be in a feature cartoon! So, I told him he can star in it on two conditions: 1 - He gets hit in the testicles at some point (using his own stunts, mind you), and 2 - he has to act like a complete buffoon.

Well, he didn't mind. Afte a test screening to a special audience, we had several demands for more blood and gore. Seph was disappointed with the post-filming plot changes, so he demanded his name be yanked from the credits. That's why, if you notice, I'm listed as his voice actor. I can honestly assure you that Mr. Seph I. Roth, the esteemed actor of stage in screen did play a part in my cartoon.

He's not such a bad guy outside of Hollywood, but he tends to be a real jackoff every now and then. Yes, he does hassle little kids from time to time (that was the inspiration for his character's actions).

A few friends of mine come over to Seph's house sometimes when he wants to show off his new TV's or his Wii. We just tease him and make sexual advances on his little sister just to piss him off! You should see the face he makes. Ah, good times. I don't know... Seph has bizarre mood swings sometimes as well. We gave him hell for dying his hair black a few years ago. He looked like such a dork!

But, yeah. He's not all that great. I don't really consider him a friend, he's more like this creepy one-winged weirdo who we get a quick laugh out of. I mean, I get him gifts for his birthday every year, but take it from me; Once you've hung out with him enough times, you can't really consider him as a villainous video game boss as much as you used to.

Stay in school. Don't eat fiber glass, and if a crazy man offers you a ride in his car, say no (unless he's rich)!

Ha ha ha, Oh wow...

What can I say that hasn't been said already? You did a fine job in this mockery of Sephiroth. I personally enjoyed it as seeing fanboys in the reviews piss their pants over it. Wonderful, just wonderful. I don't think I've laughed out loud in a while.
