good idea but counterintuitive w/ rhythm problem
so i start. and it's ok, but then, the notes are repeating, but the key i'm supposed to play is changing. this should be fixed, maybe change the songs or something, but as a musician i expect to hit the same key to play the same note. there were a few rhythm issues to.

Completed most on easy and all on medium. ParagonX's tune failed me a few times on hard. 'Epic Battle' seemed the hardest, failing me maybe 3 times on medium. Beat all others.

--- buttons could correspond more to the positions of notes on the scale.
-- When we die, it's not always obvious. There should be a big mark saying 'game over' or something, so we know we failed.
-- stats aren't easy to percieve. Progress/failure bar should have empty bars to properly show how far up they can go.
-- It seems more natural to look up than down. I dunno if you reversed the positions just to distance it from DDR, but stats and notes going to top works better, I feel.
-- Somehow, the 'perfect', etc. seem hard to see. Maybe if they were bigger, with large expanses of colour flashing up...
?? Maybe warn us - flash bg or change colour as we approach failure. Maybe darken it as we approach death?

Doubt I'll come back to this. Well made generally, but I'd rather have the active play and more polished look of DDR than the extra buttons of this.
That I'm comparing it to professional games though, speaks volumes.
Nice, but flaws
I like the game, but theres many flaws in it. Many of the tunes are out of sync, and in one of the songs, theres 2 nodes you cant get (keept me from getting perf lol XD) but i like it.
And do something about the quality of the music, id rather use 1 more min at loading, than destroy my ears with bad sound quality :P
Alright game; not as good as it can be.
This game id unfair, because the songs are offbeat with the bars, and it's entierly too easy to fail. There's only 4 songs to choose from, and they aren't particularly great songs. If you want to see what this game COULD be, check out Metal Freaks Xtreme 2+.
Off Tempo
OK, I see what you were trying to do and it almost worked. Problem is, I ran into some off-tempo things here and there. Threw me off when trying to work within the song's rhythm.
