An instant classic.
Bullett Bill 2 is the best game I've played on NG since Marvin Spectrum. It's an instant classic that reillustrates why games like Pacman, Mario, and Sonic were so much fun, and I can't wait to play this game on my NES Wii.
The simple premise of the game places the player in the role of Bullett Bill, were the Mario series reimagined so that our Plumber's former metal antagonist were the hero. Racing through infamous locations within the Mushroom Kingdom, Bill racks up classic arcade points by breaking bricks and wholloping baddies.
The gameplay is more Sonic than Mario, but the lack of numbered lives and the ability to play through each level until successful, regardless of death, give it a very arcade feel (if you were the type to go to the arcade with too many quarters!) I could easily lose myself gliding Bill through every level and world just to see this game to it's finish. The addictiveness comes from not having a game over screen. I die, I come back, and I feel wrong clicking the "X"
Everything about this game is fantastic, from the sound, to the graphics, to the concept. If I were to have one complaint it would be the ease with which my mouse drags too far off of the playing field and Bill becomes paralyzed. Still, I think this flaw adds to the challenge, adn wouldn't cry if it weren't ever fixed.
Top notch. Ten out of ten.

took a hell ofa long time to beat! the ending was awsome, too mario jumped on the bullet XD whatta great ending! I hope you come up with more bullet bill!

I remembered the first Bullet Bill and I wasn't expecting this to be such high quality!
- the sprites are gorgeous and consistent throughout.
- the music is awesome (especially the castle song).
- the controls are smooth and nice.
- the levels are varied.
- Unlimited continues
- creative boss fights
- not too hard or too easy
- not too long or too short
