Reviews for "Sword Motion Capture"

that sucked kinda

good job it kinda sucked though i will give u 10/10 u worked hard if u make another one try and do better animation i liked how interactive it was i think u should make another with better sword animation the swords are to fat anyway keep up the good work ^^

Flameviper responds:

They were paint stirrers (I improvised) ^^

Well, I did make another one, and it's a helluva lot better. Thanks for the review.

Cool

I dunno what the previous guy is talking about its really cool how you were able to animate perfectly a guy doing crazy sword moves.

Flameviper responds:

Hahaha...thanks, that was me... I try to be crazy ;)

Lol

The only humor I'm talking about is the part that says "To click this button you are God! ...unless you used pause...

I didn't use pause, I turned off the play and went back a few frames :P

Flameviper responds:

Yeah, I kind of figured that... :P

good start

I liked the idea of sword motion capture, but it wasnt done competly right.
The moves that you capture here are a bit unrealistic and you probably wouldnt use in real life, you should look up actual moves from martial arts and fencing videos for references and look for different types of swings/lunges/parries.
Also for people that would want to use this as a referece to their flash, you should add next/back frame button so ppl can watch it fbf and follow the moves step by step

Flameviper responds:

Good ideas. I definitely agree, my moves sucked. Then again, I could just use professional footage, but whatever.

And yeah, I'll try to make the forward/back buttons, if I can master ActionScript. Thanks for the review!

Cool animation...

but no hint of a storyline. It would be cool if you could implement those awesome graphic techniques into a real flash animation.

4/5 great work.

Flameviper responds:

Yeah, I thought about that. I was just trying out the technique. In my next Flash, though, I'll have a storyline. Don't count on it, though, I might just release some random nonsense.
