Reviews for "QWERTY Warriors"

Great

This was a great game which I really enjoyed. It had me hooked for quite a while. Good game

quite funny

funny reamandeed

Not bad, in fact, I liked it!

This is a pretty different game from anything else I've personally played. And I actually enjoyed it till there was no words to type anymore and typing the words that were there stopped working... so basically there was nothing I could do... I felt kinda let down but I really enjoyed the short time playing and like the concept. Maybe I just did it all wrong... I waited till the last second to "detonate" and "fullhealth" so I don't know why there was nothing I could do.

Anyways, good job!

Couple of tweaks would go a long way!

First of all several times I almost died because there were two or more words directly on top of each other both driving up to me and/or once they reached a stopped position, and I could not for the life of me read either one. I'd guess several times but needed to 'tend' to the other enemies, so I'd have to just sit there waiting for a bomb to show up so I could clear the jumbled words and heal myself. This happened several times on hard mode, especially once I got up to the 50,000+ point range, and eventually caused my demise at 75k points or so. Find a way to make one word in a 'cluster' of enemies clearly visible and legible on top of the others.
Also, the lowest level enemy... there is no sound made when you kill them, unlike every other enemy in the game. When the game speeds up I tend to rely on the sounds to confirm a kill and when I don't hear anything I wonder if I missed a 'clicking' noise from mis-spelling, or if I just didn't hit enter, or what.
Lastly a few times I know 100% for a fact that I typed in a word correctly and shot the enemy, yet they were still standing and coming toward me. Does the occasional enemy take two hits or something? Is that on purpose? Similarly when I'd use a bomb, sometimes one or two enemies would not be killed by it, and they weren't on the edge or something like that where they might have been out of range.

I do compliment your game as being a unique combination of a popular style of gaming and an educational tool. Maybe you could add levels, too, with chances to buy upgrades to firepower for multi-hit baddies, a cache of bombs, and extra life capacity.

great!

That was terrific - mygOt38 has a damn good point..this'd go down great at schools by tricking the kids into learning stuff while they're playing. well done!
