Reviews for "All NG Fads Die!!! 5!!!"

Awesome.

I love it, I'm entering the 6th one, and I put a link to see my part before I send it to you, could any of you guys take a look on AFD 6 forum page to see if it needs more work(I bet it does)?

Yay! Another AFD

Hmm.. personally, I liked the music just fine. I also liked faster pace of the previous versions, but what can I say? Even though it was slower paced, I thought that it ended up fitting nicely with the direction of the flash and the style of the individual parts.

In the next version, I would like to see a little more more shock value personally. Just my preference. I mean, if its just for fun, I say go far.

The direction I believe was good. Spreading out Helbereth's part like that was excellent, though doing this with other parts might have enhanced the suspense a bit.

I have always liked how the authors reply to every single comment. Good to see you keeping this tradition alive.

I assume PimpinJ used the v-cam to change the perspective on his robot (I assume that this was how he did it). Excellent call. It was simple, but greatly enhanced the delivery of his part.

I noticed that AFD seems to get unfairly downvoted for a lot of stupid reasons. Eventually, AFD will gather such a huge fanbase that hopefully it can overcome the effect of stupid voters.

I know you just take what is submitted, but a preloader game would be awesome. Some people might get disappointed to go from having a preloader game to not having one.

I think calling popular flashes like Brakenwood a "fad" fits with the dark theme and slightly rebellious attitude here. Too bad others can't understand this and appreciate it like me.

LOL, this review is so incoherent. Sorry for making you read these all of these totally random and nonsensical ramblings. Take all of this with a grain of salt because I have absolutely no experience making flash.

On another note, I thought that this flash deserved more than just a nod from Tom. Hopefully, he will try to promote the next one as much as possible. This series and the authors certainly deserve it.

Radioactive24 responds:

1. I don't know what the big fucking deal with the music is. AFD4.2 had slipknot and it has the highest score out of all the AFDs.

2. The artists did not go heavy on blood this time. Not something I cared about, but obviously it's not violent to some people with intestines and gore flying all over.

3. Helbereth's idea. I take no credits for it except where I placed it.

4. I feel it's important to reply to the comments. Often times, I'll levae a nice hefty review and feel rather disappointed that there is no reply. That's why I reply to every review, positive or negative (Can't speak for Logo though).

5. Nope, he only used a vcam in the scene where the character was looking around. That's it.

6. I was quite pissed about that. When we got FP, our score got up to 3.98, where upon it was down voted to 3.85! I mean, seriously, Not even the SS movies are downvoted that badly!

7. No one really good with AS was around this time. Hopefully we'll have one for 6 to help ease the load time.

8. Holy shit. Someone fucking understands us. THE WORLD IS GOING TO END!

9. Meh. It makes one's day to get a nice, well thought out review.

10. It's Tom's site. Hopefully we'll get a collection soon. I believe that was the deal.

Overall, thanks for taking the time to write out such a hefty review.

AFD roam around a self-taught Battlefield

You cant say that AFD is not original, nor can you say they quest through NG without any form of tactical ambition or agenda. At first, many troubled years ago (may have been months, no idea what I was smocking back then) I first spawned a hatred towards AFD for their use of propaganda tactics against other artists. But, through time and time again I saw actual talent in their creations. This then leads me to say that I can not agree with how AFD show their creativity, especially to animators that can actually animate and make me want to agree with them on some Prime-evil level... But I do have to say there is something professional in their criticism. Plato criticised life and its ambigious teachings, even though he taught about life in an advanced and pathological way. Stalin and Lenin upgrounded their homeland in ambitions for further greatness, yet aimed artillery at other nations that wished to do the same. Einstein ran from his birth place to escape the menace that he believed would use his talents for destruction, and ran into the arms of a nation that did the exact same.
AFD, all I wish you do not do is turn full circle and become the thing you animate. Until then, work till your fingers bleed.

Radioactive24 responds:

I enjoyed your philosophical references, as I am also a stundent of the field. Glad to see that you understand us, even though you dislike us. I find it odd that you compare our animations to propaganda, yet weirdly satisfying. Thanks for the therough review though. You put a good bit of thought into this one.

brilliant

flipping hell that was long! (not in a bad way) Am I on the right lines when I say you don't hate (most of) the animations but just the fads? anyway, I really thought it was funny.

Radioactive24 responds:

Yes, we do NOT hate the fads we kill. Thank God that someone finally understands that.
