Definitely a tune for easy listening!

It's smooth, reflective, light, and can be taken anywhere when you go walking.

But when you think about the title: Stars to NY, then you get another image in your head. You start thinking about NYC nightlife. Just a nice carefree jaunt around the eateries and clubs. A bunch of smiles all around.

I think that makes this song a versatile one. Depending on which sort of title you give it, that song will give you a different story or situation to sway by when you listen.

Still, it's going on my favorites! lol

You know I didn't have night life in mind when I did this
In fact I sorta wanted to leave that to Alicia Keys and Jay-Z, but I guess it could fit!
For me this was a sun-up kind of tune but I think I could see it the other way around

I don't see why it doesn't have a much higher score, considering the fact that everything just flows so smoothly. It makes me feel happy every time I listen to it.

10/10 and a 5/5. If they incorporated a higher amount of stars you can give, I'd still give a perfect score.

I remember when it used to be in the 4.50's, but that's usually how always starts.

I agree, I am seeing a recent spurt of funk music around these days, even if it's not much compared to the mainstream.
