Aye, I love Hi and Lo-Pass Filters. So much fun to play with. :) Shouldn't just be DJs that get to have all the fun. ;)
Thanks for leaving a mark of your own. :)
Absolutely great!
This is one of the finest beats I have heard in a long time. Great job and keep up the great work!

I'm loving the funk in this song. Makes me move and groove! Excellent percussion. I am a huge fan of good percussion. It's one of the things that gets me going and I'm excited when people use it well like you have here. Nothing to complex, but then during the transitions it gets a little extra funky.
The sounds you used were very well balanced and they all mixed well with each other. Also, nice touch with the vibrato and robot voice in the background. Adds a little extra something where the piece might otherwise have been viewed as average. The transition at 2:05 was really cool. Probably my favorite part of the piece. I especially enjoyed the new sound and melody you introduced at 2:20.
Excellent work with melodies and counter melodies, panning, fading, pretty much everything. Oh and one last thing, THANK YOU for NOT maxing out all of the sounds like so many people love to do (for some reason). Thanks for the upload.

Gotta say, killer review here. :) Working backwards off what ya said, ya, I keep a close eye on all my levels. To make something stand out you don't need to increase it's volume, just make sure it's at a different volume than other sounds. The ear is capable of picking things out on its own provided the sound's not sharing volume with another. :) Sometimes making a sound quieter will make it appear more prominently.
Definitely nice to hear you liked the transitions and evolution of synth selection/usage throughout the track. I actually didn't introduce a new sound at 2:20ish, it was simply an application of the arpeggiator at a higher octave to make it sound different from when it's used earlier and later on. :)
Aye, I'm not too creative with percussion so I tend to keep it simple and focus more on my melodies. Luckily the keeping it simple is starting to pay off cause I'm learning some neat tricks with percussion loops. :)
Thanks for leaving such a fantastic review, Chubsywubbledub! :D
