Reviews for "Broken Saints Chapter 3"

VERY good artwork but...

I thought it was extremely boring and there was hardly any animation. It was almost like reading a comic book which also made it very boring. But the drawings were awesome...

This is pretty good

This has a nice storyline but it moves to slowly I wasn't able to watch the whole thing next time you make a flash like this make sure that it's more interesting.

A Disconnected Story so Far

Like the previous two chapters, this episode of Broken Saints uses the familiar comic book style, slideshow technique of animation, showing well-drawn pictures accompanied by text to convey thoughts and words. This style gets old quickly; I can generally only sit through one chapter a day.

In this episode, the author takes his familiar animation style and tries, somewhat unsuccessfully, to add a twist: a fight. The fight generally amounts to expressive figures in expressive poses gliding slowly across the screen toward the other figure. It's tough to really imagine what's going on, physically, or who's doing what to who when the picture conveys only this limited visual information, but story-wise, that's not too important, the only thing that matters being who won and why he fought.

Which brings us to story. Plot. This chapter seems completely disconnected from the previous, perhaps telling a different part of the story that won't make sense until later on, when the character featured here, the faithful Muslim, unites his story with those of the other characters. But nothing happens. His story isn't told, so much as hinted at, as all we are shown is this character fighting another, with obtuse, metaphoric language and this character's bizarre experiences briefly shown in the first chapter being all we have to go on when pondering exactly what is taking place and why. The Broken Saints story/saga may be incredibly cool, but you'd have no way of knowing until you've sat through the majority of these long, slow episodes.

sorry dude a little slow

I appreciate that you were trying to set up an atmosphere, and i watched as long as i can but i didnt make it.

wtf?

that was weird, maybe put some animation in?!
