grendel... and it isn't truley a tanslation it is old english (often confused with middle english) old english is though pretty much a different language imagine english without all that stupid french and you have old english.... close to danish and german it is a harsher langauge but you would be able to understand like a quater of what is being spoken... sorry to throw some useless knowladge in der see ya...

I read Beowulf last year, which was a great epic poem. Plenty of hot scantily-clad women, Internet memes, tweens... Wait a minute.
For a school project, this was nice. How'd you do? Did many people get the jokes? :)
Even as simply an entertaining Flash movie on Newgrounds, it did all right. The slow start in the beginning was annoying, even if that was the joke, but the rest was good.
Also, you only got to the Grendel fight! What about Grendel's mother and the dragon? We need MO.
No action, just humor
Well, the humor is nice. Pretty decent with the mess ups and the opening and whatnot. It's an okay Flash. Nothing too interesting. One thing irks me though. Why couldn't you have an awesome scene or even a simple tween when Grendal got his arm ripped off. Grendal's arm was ripped off by Beowulf, Grendal fled then blead to death due to the severe wound. Even if it was just Grendal running after the pause and Beowulf saying something like 'I got a new back scratcher' would have been alot better than just Grendal laying on the floor dead. The humor is there, but where is the violence. The closest was superman getting squished. Couldn't there be any more?
