It goes back and forth...
On some parts, I like the other version better, due to tempo issues, but both are addicting in their own ways. I like the heavy guitarwork on this over the other song, though the other stays more true to the melodies and doesn't seem so over the top with all the samples. Don't get me wrong, I love it, either way, but they just seemed off at times. Anyway, great work. :)

It isn't really even people playing the guitars or stuff. Just MEGA advanced robots from the future that come back every once and a while to show how much us mortals suck ass.

Im sorry, but there is someone on youtube whos got you beat with his own metal take of One Winged Angel. Yours is pretty good, but you know what? I said it above LOL!
I did however, LOVE the addition of the voices. Gives a good feel to advent children and the game itself. You should try to swing the voices to have less echo. THAT would be absolutly BAD ASS!

There's only 3 metal versions I know of and two of them I helped make including this one. The other one was the Advent Children version by the original composer.
Don't just say "there's one on youtube" because our original version of this is on there too which might be the one you're talking about in which case no it's not better. This version is far better in every way for these reasons: It's in the right key, the mixing is a little better, better drums and drum samples, better orchestra samples, the addition of vocals and better guitars.
