The clothes and his expression really capture that "what if" scenario you were going for. The detail in his faces and on the scarves is imposing. If he did exist in our world what culture would he come from?

I'm guessing he would be Arabic. I know it seems strange, but I really don't know what else could come close with a parallel to something that exists in our world. I mean, it really wouldn't change anything about him. Piccolo's gonna be piccolo :)
The notification I got in my email just showed his lips and I thought, "Damn! Piccolo needs some chapstick pronto!"

Looks great! He looks very middle eastern. Might just be the clothing. Where is he looking by the way? Could he be by any chance, looking at dill pickles?

Yeah, I mean he does rock a turban and middle-eastern style clothing, so I just improvised from there. The point is to translate him into a character that would exist in our world. So middle eastern is the closest bet.
