Reviews for "The Edge of Torment"

Wow, impressive!

Incredible graphics! I can't believe it! lol Seriously how did you do that?

Nice....

This was nicely put together. The work behind it shows effort and great workmanship. Great work and thank you for your submission....

great

I loved it. All the effects were perfect.

the only thing I'd say needs to be improved is the fight itself. It just needs more life to it. It's a common problem in fight scenes. you just need to put more life into it.
everything else is great, though

Nice fight to the death, Doomhammr.

Why is it that every time someone submits a flash video such as this one, it gets flak for not being a cartoon. Even though I would like to see more hand-animated frame-by-frame, that won't stop me from enjoying this short. Now, onto the review: This may not be up to par with some 120,000-3,000,000 dollar indie film, much less a 5 million dollar or higher Hollywood movie in terms of effects and choreography; but for something made by three guys, they get the job done. While the acting could be a bit better, but seeing that you guys aren't professionals such as Dan Castellaneta (from Married with Children and the Simpsons) or Garry Chalk (from Beast Wars and the X-Files); I say that you pass for the effort.

What I liked:
-Good video quality (seeing that video files are huge).
-decent special effects for such a stringent budget.
-Good narration
-Something different

What I didn't like:
-Acting/choreography could be a bit better, but you and your friends are everyday people.

Overall: I think YouTube and Veoh's userbases need to learn a thing or two from you and your friends, Doomhammr. Therefore, here's a nine out of ten. Now if only people here weren't so hostile to flash videos.

Nice Job

I thought this was awesome. Although, there were some quaility problems, and the fight scene was a bit under chorographed, It still had seriously great effects, and I just enjoyed watching it. Good Job.
