The integration of the animation into the video is nearly flawless, the choice of music is excellent, and the acting is funny as hell. Really amazing job, man!
The real let down for this was because this was part of an education course I had to write a lot of needless paperwork which made everything take about twice as long. Although some of it might be good for an extras movie since it shows some of my secrets to making this... I dunno there but it would kill the magic in this movie so perhaps not.
To answer your question properly though preparing and creation of the main movie took about 4-5 months, adding another month or so to that for getting this ready for flash, I've had other work to complete though so getting it ready for flash I had to do in short bursts.
I think I could easily do this faster knowing what I do now though, but first I need to get the equipment again @_@ thank you for the curious review ^_^

the filesize makes it hard to get the voting panel up though.. and i think the preloader's a little glitchy (or it might be my com, *shrug*)
was a funny and interesting movie, the one thing i didn't like about it is i still felt sorry for the lil green thing in the end o.o

Good thing you got the upload size increased, well worth it. This is hopefully a groundbreaker for NG, though I dont expect any of this calibur to be making an appearance anytime soon.
Animation is slightly different, everything is smooth other then Green's walking animation, which involved about three frames. Whether you cut down on them or had to converve filesize I'm not sure, but a smoother Green animation would have made it a touch better.
Pausing inbetween scenes is essential for the making of it, so I wont even bother bringing that up - only that it could be a little less, but as if I'm gonna penalise you for that, I'm not that cruel.
Original script, original idea, original characters (Though that human in there looked like he was stolen from another flash animation, am I wrong? hehe...), all put to good use in a groundbreaking style of flash submission.
Awesome work, heres looking at many future submissions by you, and others out there willing to make a decent effort at this sort of thing.

More of a groundbreaker when the main movie was first made a year ago compared to now (Flash has become much more video friendly since then) it makes me wonder what the reaction would have been like if I submitted it back then... anywho thank you for the kind review nonetheless, also be sure to have a try at finding the easter egg...
