Reviews for "Mario: Bob-Omb Battle 2"

very nice work!

nice job with the sequel. The music from Super Smash Bros. Melee was a great touch to the big battle scene, and the great ecape. I also noticed a scene where you got the idea of the spinning block from Super Mario Sunshine. I love that game. I love evil mario and Luigi. Did you get the idea from the flash "Power Star 1 and 2"? Nice job adding the mountain where the castle was sitting on. It came from Super mario 64 right? I gave you a perfect 10 for this movie. Nice job!

JonBro responds:

Yep. Power Star 1 and 2. I always thought after watching the first one that Luigi could work playing the evil role. I used that concept in this movie, which actually worked quite well.

And yes, that's the cube from Super Mario Sunshine. You don't see all too many movies that parody SMS, so I added that in.

(And the mountain the castle was sitting on is called Bob-Omb Battlefield)

Thanks!

I love it!!

But I thought Mario and Luigi made it out of the castle safely before it collapsed. And how were you able to make the high-detailed Castle a different color from the ones in Super Mario Bros. All-Star? Ans I thought the machine at the start would kill Luigi. But made him evil instead! But what about the other movie? Luigi will die there if Mario can't make it. PM me when you finish it.

JonBro responds:

Actually, this is the remake of that movie. I changed a bit of the plot to make this one more accurate.

Thanks!

Stroll Down Memory Lane...

Found the Easter Egg with Mario dancing, and I'm so happy that I did, as the music from Super Mario RPG: Legend of The Seven Stars is just awesome, (favorite Mario game, too).
Now as far as the flash itself, for a sprite flash, the animations were very fluid and well done, the music was good, the fighting was top notch, the story was good, although I think we may have seen Evil Luigi's/Mario's a bit too often, yet incorporating The Bomb-Omb King was a nice touch. All in all I'd say this ranked in the top 10 Mario parodies for me. Keep up the good work!

Yew!

Great!

Good work I loved it and the music was absolutely awesome! You are very good at what you do and you should keep them coming. Great work again!

Thanks Mate.
