I always wondered how you do that luminescent lighting. Is it arduous?
It was a little challenging at first, but I found using photo references from black lights really helped. The key is to think of light as shadow! At least that's what helped me.
Almost could have been a character in Ni No Kuni.

Awesome! I may use all the wrong artistic terminology, but I really like how well the contrasting colors end up working together. Plus that shade of teal/bluegreen/whatever is my favorite!

I agree that the teal/bluegreen/whatever is cute too! I actually pulled her clothing colors from another artist's piece since I thought it looked so good and just lit her with this crazy lighting! Glad you could identify the color as what it truly was!
