Reviews for "CinderSnake"

nice

im interested in knowing what tutorials you used

CinderfootProduction responds:

If you want to learn actionscript, what I used probably isn't a good start. You probably want to look at some of the other game tuts on NG- the one I used was off-site, and plus, the ones at NG are better to start than the one I used. That one was probably better for people who already had a basic understanding of AS and flash. Check out the flash help here first.

It's Hard to Beat Snake

This is a very smooth snake you've got here. If you could do anything to spruce it up some that would be great...so long as it doesn't affect the gameplay any. The graphics could be overlooked by some if it continues to move groovy as it does now.

Also, what song was playing?

CinderfootProduction responds:

It's on the audio partal... click on the author's username by "audio" to see it and other music projects he;s done. Thank you for the comments, though. I will make improvements, and I'll make sure to keep the gameplay nice and smooth while doing so.

nothing too special..

dude i kinda liked it but there coodve been a bit more eg. high score system and difficulties (higher difficulty = higher score)

CinderfootProduction responds:

Thanks. I think you're right about that.

It's OK.

It was very fluid and stylish, in a minimalistic way. A little more content would have given it a higher score, but it is a solid remake of snake.

CinderfootProduction responds:

Thank you. I've hear the more content thing several times now, and I agree 100%. Your comments are appreciated!

Meh.

When you said "Fluid", I think you meant "controls like a blind 80 year old man"

CinderfootProduction responds:

People who reviewed before you agreed on how fluid it was. Maybe your keyboard is off, or you're just bad at the game? I'll try to make the game a bit more accessible to all keyboards and skill levels next time.
