Reviews for "Submachine3: the Loop"

Simple yet addictive :)

Cool game, I haven't played the others yet (which I will go and do in a sec). At first I thought "Ugh, this is probably going to be nearly impossible and frustrating", but tbh I really enjoyed solving the puzzles and they weren't that difficult either :) Very nice game, nice use of graphics and good work with the ambient sound. You have my 5 :)

Now off to play the others and find out how it began :D

great game! here's a walkthrough:

level walkthrough:
level 2:
simply find the map (usually it's directly to the right from the start, which is always 0,0) and use it to turn all levers
level 3:
find the map, and go to any dot. click the mechanism, and go to the number it says (example: it says 22, go to 2,2) click the mechanism at that spot. repeat.
level 4:
find the map. go to the corner dots, and click the buttons to see which numbers don't change. do that in all corners, and then set the numbers to whichever number didn't change in the other corners. once complete, turn the 2 levers.
level 5:
find the map. go to each dot, searching for the one labled with 1 dot (not visible on the map, you have to go see it yourself), turn the lever on the first dot one. then search for the one labled by 2 dots. repeat for all 6 levers finishing with the one labled by 6 dots.
level 6:
find the map. go to each dot, and look at the coordinates. use them for the letter, 1=A, 2=B, 3=C, etc. do for all dots.
level 7:
find the map. find the machine. then find all 6 letters on the other dots, and put them into the machine and press the button.
level 8:
don't bother with the map. find the small lever (probably below the start). pull it. go up to a projector. memorize the line pattern ( / is up, \ is down, for easier memorization) go back to the lever, and search around it for a row of rooms with strange machines in them. clicking the horizantal bars will make the up line, and the vertical bars will make the down line. after you'r done, find the lever above the map and pull it.
level 9:
find the map. go to one of the dots. if it's the capsule, memorize the coordinates, if it's the machine, and you have a coordinate, enter it, and pull the lever. go to the appropriate capsule that you entered the coordinates of, and pull the 2 levers. repeat for the other capsules.
level 10:
don't bother with the map. find the color pattern, and the word pattern. coralte the letters to the color by the first letter in the color's name (g is for green, p is for purple, etc) some letters or colors cannot be changed, but change the ones that you can in order to match the colors with the letters. press the button in the color's room.
level 11:
find the map with dots. memorize the dots. find the map without dots, put the dots in it correctly. find the lever (don't bother with map dots, they aren't true). pull it.
level 12:
read the note. find the map. look for the 2 letter = #s rooms. corolate the numbers to each letter. (RGW = 543 means red should be 5, green should be 4, etc.). press the lower button until the color is empty, then click the above button the number of times it told you to. (varies from 0-6). find and pull the 2 levers. find the leaf. you now have a choice, either way will end the game. either go to the statue the note told you to, and put the leaf on it, or press the 0,0 button.

YOU WIN!

I wish this was more randomized, as this was way too easy. Nice touch with making the level codes change every time you play. makes it so that people can't just skip levels.

Wow!

I really like this game its much more fun than the other Submachine games.
I got through every puzzle pretty fast.

FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY BRAIN EXPLOADED

Jesus Christ! i almost lost my mind on this one and god damn how many rooms are there? but i love Submachine so i thought it was fun... until i had a heartatack.

An excellent game all round. I was very confused at first but after a while got my bearings and I found it a lot of fun. Nice simple music that gives the game a dark feel. I also appreciate not having to pick up any items - in these games it can sometimes be almost unavoidable you'll use a walkthrough and find you've missed some object tucked away somewhere, but here you can just concentrate on the puzzles.

Sorry for the short review, but I think the game works when you know as little about it as possible before you start and find your own way. Enjoy, and try to avoid using walkthroughs - the puzzles aren't THAT hard, you just need to be methodical.
