It just happened to me recently. Musically truly is the way to let out those emotions. As a musician, you keep those emotions forever, so that you may use them later to recreate certain moods. Shoving them aside simply isn't an option. I knew something was amiss when I first heard it, and well, I guessed correctly, didn't I? If you can keep these within you, then you will truly be a successful artist. Good art only comes from control over powerful emotions, and I think here, you have done it well.
