A nice touch on dating sims
This is 1 of the only 3 dating sims I liked. The other was simgirls, except for the nudity, and elf sim date II. Before I say bugs I found, I'll explain my statistics. (I started using decimals, so 8.6 is 86%, which is a B.
Graphics 8.3- Good, but something about them seemed, well, rugged, I suppose. The body was way out of porportion, but that was purposeful. I didn't like it (either of them). I think it was the constant variation and thickness of stroke width that was the most annoying. They were still awesome, though.
Style 7.7- Since to me style is flow of graphics and the way they are used to demonstrate effect, and since I disliked the varying stroke widths, I gave this a (relatively) low score. I really liked the characters eyes. Full of soul.
Sound 8.1- There simply weren't enough sounds. Everything else was a OK.
Violence 0.8- All there were was hitting Ian on the head in the beginning. (It's good to get a low score in this for a dating sim)
Interactivity 8.8- I subtracted for it all being point-and-click. Other then that, it's all good.
Humor 7.9- The only funny thing was bringing the Jenna character into the "4th dimension." She talked (insulted) the player directly, like she realized she was a fake character. A little dark humor. What I laughed my ass off was how you talked about the fact that you had no nudity and that porn was unnecessary in dating sims, then proceeded to place lesbians (kissing) in it, and then, THEN, proceeded to rate it for everyone.
Overall 8.4- It was nice to see to see a romantic sim date. For a first game, It was well done. I liked the rollover energy you got from not using it the previous day. I'm a man, but this was still enjoyable for me. Especially because all the men had long hair. They looked like women (except for Kyle, I suppose). It was all quite good.
Bugs- When talking to someone, right-click and press back or forward. It lets you select any question you want. You should release an unlimited version, without the time limit.
