Reviews for "Waka Laka Dodge Deluxe"

Cool m8. Jimtopia it's me bud!!!

Hey, cool game. The colours are nice. Great music. What is it?

Jimtopia responds:

The songs called Waka Laka. It's from DDR. lol, thx for the review.

i think i can help you with stuff

the last guy mentioned a sheild, i can help with that. PM me. anyways, this is a lot easier and more fun than the last! i hope to see more.

Jimtopia responds:

And you will, thx for the review!

Hm.

It's a step up from the last one, for sure; at least it's not quite so difficult this time time around. However, it's still almost entirely a memorization game; there's no way at all to predict where the black object will move next, and since it goes so quickly, the only way to win is to play the level, lose, and remember where you lost so you can *not* be in that spot the next time. Not much fun, honestly.

Also, I wasn't a big fan of the musical note graphic behaved; the trail that it left behind it just added to the frustration and I wasn't a big fan of its shape as a main character to begin with. It's different, and it's interesting, I'll give it that, but it just wasn't the right fit for me.

I'd love to see something new on the next version, and perhaps something a little less pointlessly difficult. Give us a fair fight against the mysterious black objects! What about a shield, or a bonus that would shrink the size of the objects for a bit? *Something* like that would help.

Also, continues would be wonderful. Starting over completely after losing wasn't fun at all.

I did really like the music, though, but adding one more song to the mix -- or maybe even two -- would've made it more interesting.

Sorry, but I really wasn't a fan of this game as it is right now. I'd certainly play the next edition and give it a chance, though, as I like the concept -- just not the gameplay of this version.

Hope that helps. I always appreciate responses to my reviews! :)

Jimtopia responds:

You want a fair fight, huh? lol, okay I will work on that for next time. Well, not much else to say in this response I guess.

^^Good Points^^
You added lots more levels, which is much better than your last version and also the levels seem to be actually possible to beat, so that's much better too.

^^Needs Improving^^
I'm a little disappointed with this. It still is extremely hard to play, and I used mostly memorization of movement to win each level. They were challenging, and maybe a little too challenging. I also hated going back to level one after each level. That was just not a good idea.

Jimtopia responds:

Well, when it's a dodging-style game, it's got to be hard to beat, because if I didn't make it that way, then I'd have to overstuff it with level and it would get really long and boring. Thx for your review though.

umm

hey dude, its a good game and all, its just that i dont like those kinds of games. i like action, but thats just my opinon, im sure other ppl would love this. good work. I gave u a 0 4 sound because i dont have ne sound.

Jimtopia responds:

That doesn't really seem like a fair review. Um, and if all you had against the game was the fact that you don't like those kind of games, why would you review it?!
