If only I had been able to play this, when I was interested in these types of games.
I spent years playing many different ver. of 'a very similar game'; even rewrote some of the files, to match my town and contacts.
Maybe I will be in the mood to play sometime, but until then, I can say that it looks quite impressive!
I guess pot culture was already pop culture when I was first playing; but it appears to be even more so nowadays.
