sorry, but this is what i think...
not good. i only know MC stands for movieclip because of other ttorials, you just give us the text without telling us what it means or how it works, you don't show us play buttons, or anything else. the music was bad, the background and graphics sucked... so it could need a lot of improving.

so to start off, i would like to say, i wanted to focus on getting people to know where to put the code than what the code means seing as it was originally supposted to be for beginners,,, didn't work out the way i planned,,, lol,,, music, i made, and i didn't know wtf i was doing, theres a mute button, just click the black button on the bottom middle, and personally i feel that the graphics were a lot better than when people put just solid colours, most use black,,, but thats your opinion and thats fine, there are other tutorials which teach you how to use play buttons, and after christmas i'm planning on making an updated version of this or a whole new tutorial that improves on my mistakes,,,, hope this is helpful,,,thanks for the review

It helped me make my animated Preloader. Yeah I know AS, but from time to time I'll run across something I don't know, and so this did help. It's not for beginners, but it's not for advanced users. It's for ppl who want to make their movie a little better and etc... Thanks much :)

For who?
This tutorial is NOT fo beginners. Its for pros that dont need it! As the guy before me said "I dont know what MC is" Was it too much to tell people the its short for Movieclip? And its too "jumping" alot if you know what i mean? (nudge nudge) Your skipping toomuch that could provide usefull! Like as i mentioned what is and MC or were shall i put the Action Script? You only say the first frame! The first frame in what timeline? The Bar MC timeline or the casual timeline! I think those are only some of the reasons this got a fairly low score! Update or make a new one to learn beginners flash! Thats all i can say to help you, i hope to see another tutorial from you soon.

Well I must admit I agree with you that it's not for beginners,,,I have looked it over and compared it to what I am teaching in my own class right now (My computer asked me to take over and teach the class flash at school since she knows not of it) And I would like to take back the fact that it's for beginners because it's more for people who have used flash but are new to actionscript, This is what I meant when I said it was for beginners!
Thanks for the review, I don't know if and when my next tutorial will be seing as I have much on the go at the moment including my next game which has a large sponsorship under it's belt so I am hoping to finish that ASAP but it will take good time.

I dont know what an MC is or how to name layers or what ever pictures are DEFINATLY needed.

MC is a movie clip, and to name a layer, right click on the layer you want, go to properties, and change it there =D
