A few ideas?
I think you should have link knocked away from the master sword. Fighting to get it back. Maybe add in his bow and arrows. Even use the fierce diety mask maybe? or even (might sound strange but hey, that what games/movies are for) Have his parents come back from the dead 0.0 (maybe just his dad).
