People should not take the rating to mean that this game is more fun than other games on newgrounds, it's actually quite frustrating as the other reviewers have pointed out. But this product was still incredible! If it can be improved, it would be very well received!

i loved this game!! im not gay but this game was excellent. i think i was right by giving it a 5/5 because it is a excellent idea and i hope he makes another game better.. next time add more detail into the monsters and make it more funneh. Overall, a absolutely excellent game. i hope you are a top games artist in th future..

Good graphics and worked pretty good I do wish it had a save function but I know many games use this password method as well so its no big deal it sort of reminds me of a game boy color game which is solid
Cool... But.. Needs a bit of smoothing out.
Holding down the attack key kept you from performing a full swing, which, when next to an enemy, ment you get killed quite quickly.
Perhaps after getting hit by an enemy you could make it so you either bounce back (making it difficult to jump onto guarded platforms) or gain a few moments where you aren't able to get hurt. This way running into an enemy dosent equal an almost instant death!
The graphics were decent, could use a little smoothing out though... But Otherwise the game was really cool.. So if you dont excuse me, Im going to continue playing.
I hoped for ...
At first I had the feeling of a Castlevania clone, and I was somehow excited but I realized it was not what I expected. The game needs improvement on many points.
Graphics : Graphics were okay. Even if you don't want to graphically improve them, I suggest to add a little bit more animation at least instead of enemies froating weirdly everywhere.
Style : For the feeling you tried to give to your game. Seemed to me like a mix of Castlevania and Prince of Persia (old games) so you got a nice score there.
Sounds : No music, only sound effects, barely enough if you ask me.
Iteractivity : Control are ok. Nothing awesome and they are strangely placed. Ctrl or Shift could be an option or any other adjacent keys.
Overall you got a 6 which leaves place to improvement a lot but still there is a great potential in your work. You might want to review your difficulty level tho.
