As for criticisms, at around 2:00 you've got some spin-out-of-control tunes to the guitar. They can sound good, but they need to line up with the song.

WIP means "Work In Progress". It's an unfinished song that I released to get some criticism on how it's going so far.
Yeah, there are some points in time where my recording software will record things between a 32nd note and a few full measures behind where it's supposed to record. I need to get more reliable software.

When I heard the intro I thought I was gonna say something like "all you did was .. copy the original and make it echo," but I'm glad you did more with it :P Nice sounds, well mixed and all that too.

Lol I didn't even copy the midi file, I wrote the whole 8-bit part based on a Youtube video.
But I'm glad you liked it. Maybe check out the final? Because it's sexier? And it loops? :P

Absolutely fantastic.
I've been lurking around the audio portal all day looking for some awesome Pokemon music, and now I've finally found what I was looking for.
This is crazy intense, which is something most of the other Pokemon remixes/covers I've been sifting through can't say. This is what a battle should really sound like, haha. It blew my mind. I am absolutely impressed, even though you say this is only about 80% finished. I think it's actually fine the way it is, but I'll certainly be back for the full version when you release it.
