Great game
This is by far my favorite shooter on newgrounds. The graphics while not as flashy as some other submissions are completely functional and the weapons look great. The gameplay is well done with a large number of weapon types, but it does tend to get a little boring after 15 levels (I got to 30 and was getting a little bit bored) although the tactical element does help. Overall i think this submission needs a little polish but as a core game it is easily worth a 9 in my book.

.... You do know he means the enter key? Right? They were called "Return" keys back in the day.. like.. a day ago.. but, you know..
Anyhow, wonderful game. I love the random part and I love how impossibly hard it gets. A real challenge. Farthest I got: Moon 4, level 12

I wasnt really able to play , call me stupid or blind but i simply cant find a 'return' key on my keyboard so i could only play untill i reached out of Ammo so thats why i come to the suggestion , add an Option to change the controlls.

make another, but here are some updates....
Abilty to hold more than one weapon ( 1 pistol, on leg of the guy, one machine gun, on back of the guy, shot gun , in a shot gun sized pocket on the guy, and the last is a bazooka, thats next to the machine gun on his back and in your hand a knife, and you can swich threw those weapons )
Also... You hae difrent types of bombs, the regulur bomb ( a plasma bomb ) and a hand grenade.
Heres another idea for ya, I am sick of haveing to pick up the weapon with the most ammo, you should just be avle to pick up ammo as you walk over a weapon ( the one you have on you or the one you are holding )
And... Heres another there should be health packs in the terain.
And heres the last idea ( not really lol!! ) there should be a 2 player CTF, or Death Match, or Team Death Match, you get it right so just ad those mini games.
and here is the REAL last one, ( a sprite ubdate )
there should be a enemey base, team mates in story mode and more weapons and there should be monsters to fight and last!!!! UFO's to shoot down on turrets!!!!!!!! this WILL be a sick game if you make it, and throw in what else you can thing of alright? and if i mis spellded anything sooory i rushed this and those I's might not be capatal,

Great
It was very refreshing to play something other than, as you put it, a frantic flying though the air blast-em-up; games like that are overused and usually shallow and poorly done.
This, on the other hand, was fun to play. The multiple types of weapons each with their own stats added a lot of depth to the game, as well as the AI being more than "go towards the player and shoot every .5 seconds."
On the whole, though, the entire game didn't quite seem totally polished; I think it could be a big hit if you polished it up a bit, maybe put in some effects and optimized the engine, and released a sequel.
Anyways, although some people seem to only enjoy midless blast-em-ups, I did appreciate this game and I encourage you to make more like it.
