Pokemon Hate is getting old. Give it another six months and no one will give a fuck about pokemon. The thing is, there not as much satisfactio in kiling the Pokemon, Humans are the best to kill.

A Mixed Response
Although there is some merit to this film, I would like to seize this opportunity to say one thing: ENOUGH WITH THE FUCKING POKEMON. It has become a Portal knee-jerk. Can't think of anything to make a movie about? Why not kill Pokemon??? That's funny, right??? Wrong. It's boring. The whole Pokemon craze is really not that interesting, and having such strong feelings about it only speaks to one's general shallowness. Pop-culture name-dropping does not comedy make. I, personally, hope Mr. Barrett does not own up to his threat of making this into a series.
The merit, however, is that the drawings are pretty good, and really the reason this thing just didn't get a "2" is the great use of "Smells Like Teen Spirit." The fact that the opening riff sample ends, allowing the drums and distorted guitar riff to come in at just the right time is truly admirable. The only caveat to this, however, is that both riffs repeat a few too many times. It's only a 2-bar riff, Troy. It gets boring fairly quickly (but not as quick as a cheesy 1-bar KoRn riff!).
Nice production values, but not a great premise.

This is a very interesting short. I do enjoy senceless violence. Keep up the good work.
