pretty cool

it was worth just getting to lvl 25 just to see my athlon 64 3200 get killed by a flash game lol, was sort of a pity there wasn't much else, having gotten the weapon by lvl 7 and it being very repetitive
perhaps after so many lvls bugs go and in come soldiers with guns completly changing the play dynamic, or perhaps terrain that can black line of fire/enemy movement, also the minigun was too powerful
another thing that has recently come into defender games is support buildings, they are also cool
the reason i also gave the sound a 4 is that the minigun gave me a headache and the bugs made no noise which was wierd, i had my own background music on so i can't comment on yours
but overall very cool, keep up the good work

thnx, i'd also like to say that with the original minigun sound...i actually lowered the pitch and amplification.

^^haha, the original one gave me a headache too. I'll probably lower the pitch again

Overal good.

This game is overal fun too play, and there is alot of interactivity ( ie. buying weapons, gaining money, killing enemies ) but it lacked something... A plot, a story! It felt too arcade, it could've been so mutch better if there was a story present.
Another thing that wasn't quite right, was the fact that its so fast paced, on level 4 i had the minigun ( the most expensive weapon ) and a few upgrades, the only thing that could kill me then was boredom.

Some new weapons and things to do would never hurt, maybe placeable turrets or mines, or even people that would help you, or after each few rounds, a minigame or mission, and special items/weapons to obtain, and most importantly, a story.

Grapics - 7
Menu was very nicely done, the special effects and grapics ingame where also nicely made.

Style - 8
Defend your base game with unique things added, like collecting money by walking to floating money icons and you'll have to kill aliens instead of medival people.

Sound - 6
There where 2 soundtracks, and there where some SFX, though they where a bit blant.

Violence - 7
Killing aliens, no major gore.

Interactivity - 8
4 Dificulties, 10 weapons, 4 upgrades, lots of enemies, lots of killing, thus alot to do.

Humor - 0
No humor.

when it gets too easy...i just suggest cranking up the difficulty levels.

actually...there are 4 soundtracks.

i'll increase the cost of the minigun...
If you have any ideas for weapons, i'd be glad to add them. I'm really going to go for missions next time...

needs a little work

a couple things i couldnt stand, the first was how annoying the minigun and uzi are after upping dex 7 times. the speed of the sniper round should be the fastest, it should go across the screen faster than any other bullet. no pistol. no gore. not enough things for me to kill. i kill alot. throw in a rapid rocket (8000) and a lazer minigun (6000). put the weapons in order of price. show damage. show enemy health. increase sheild length. decrease the spred of the minigun and have no spred on the assualt rifle. bullet animationg starts at the barrel not the mid of little dude wearing green. show damage for guns and rounds per second so we can see the dif increasing dex/str make. quit healing the player at the end of each day, make the player pay for medical.

and btw, the player heals if it's in the base, i don't remember whether i had it heal itself at the end of each day.

just fire nonstop

there are better games then this in this genre
