I need help with this.
When I try to makean embedded video, it asks me to import something. What am I supposed to do? BTW Im using 8 pro.

Um... well asumming you followed the instructions carefully, then nothing should go wrong. Personally im using flash mx so i only really know what do to in MX.

Make sure you use insert video insstead of import videa (are they the same thing) is all i can think of. Meh.. PM me and i'll have a think.

Im using Flash 8.0 Professional and, it does not work with me... First i didnt know where to find instace name (it took me about 20 mins), then i found it, when i test the movie, there is only blank, nothing else

Make sure the code is on the frame that the embedded video is on. Make sure that the embedded video is actually an embedded video not a MC or something. Make sure the insatnce name is correct. The instance name in the tutorial is dynamic text so you can copy and paste it. If that still doesn't work PM me.

this is really not usefull at all.
Look man, I know you meant well, but this doesn't really help people with making webcam games. It doesn't even mention motion detection, it doesn't give any information other than how to make the video appear. I give you credit for at least explaining what you did tell moderately well though. I know I sound harsh, but I tell it like it is.

The reason i didn't say how to include motion detection is simple: I don't know >_< But i did provide a link to a macromedia livedocs topic on it that has info on motion detection and all that. But I am learning motion detection and am working on Webcam in flash tutorial 2 which will include motion detection.
