Reviews for "Tidal Wave"

yeah good job

it threw me back to my young days (even if im only 16 now lol)

i loved the good old classic style...really

i have nothing to say against that game

Nice game with a classic feel

When I played it I felt like I was playing an old NES game. The whole game had a nice old school feel to it that made it great. But Yeah the bugs in the game would be a great thing to take care of. Good game either way.

Heh

Originality counts, this was original.... but i found a bug.... if you go up top the whole time the girl won't stop you. Decent game

Have you ever...

Have you ever wanted to push a friend who is stuck in a wheel-chair to the safety of a helicopter so as to avoid a huge tidal wave? Well, I honestly never thought I did, but this game awoke some primal, deeply hidden, urge to do so.

On a technical note this game is crisp, smooth, and I had no trouble with the controls. Overall the game got challenging at a smooth enough rate, nothing truly impossible early on, and just enough time to get a feel for what is going on before real challenged were tossed at us. Unlike other Atari-esque sounds I have heard, these actually weren't annoying, which is something you should truly be proud of. Finally, as if all of this wasn't enough, the implementation of the graphics was awesome. I love the look of that little bulldozer and dude in wheelchair, it is all just beautifully packaged together.

There is honestly nothing that I would improve about this game... About the only thing you could add would be some sort of quirk, such as allowing the wheelchair to be picked up for short amount of time in the bulldozer's bin, or something along those lines.

You certainly have the skill with this style, many people I have seen try to implement this fail horribly, but not you. You seem to actually know what you are doing, and care about what you are doing. So in the end, just continue doing what you're doing, and you're set.
