I am a programmer too. This was just a nice piece to manipulate and play with. I wish people at Newgrounds would play a little just to see how much work you really put into this to make this function properly!
Please, keep doing cool stuff like this. Perhaps add an elastic sound effect to add to the springyness of the points. Overall ver nice job. The only improvement could be a little better looking interface.

But it's not a bad thing at all. I myself am a math nerd and I have added this to my favorites. You can be sure this one will pass judgement. It needs to be on front page to stimulate the minds of the masses. You should make another one with tensile/compressive stress analysis. That would be a fun way to explain basic space frame engineering to people.
